Field Festival 2007 - About the Event
About

The Event

The sixth annual Field Music Festival will once again take place in the small rural town of Craik SK (conveniently located between Saskatchewan’s two largest cities: Regina and Saskatoon) on the second weekend of September 2008. Field Music Festival offers:

  • Great local and regional live music (bands and DJs)
  • Camping
  • Dancing under the stars
  • Fun with friends and family
  • Delicious cold beers in our beer garden (19+ with ID)

We are also very excited to welcome Canadian guitar legend Jack Semple to our stage this year. Numerous other top local and national performers will also be performing and will be announced (www.fieldfestival.com) at the end of July 2008.

The Venue

This year’s event will once take place in the Town of Craik's Regional Campground. The campground is a great, practical venue with lots of shaded areas, clean camping sites, a large outdoor swimming pool, playground and more. For more info on the regional campground please visit the following web page: http://www.saskregionalparks.ca/showPark.php?id=craik.

Access to general tent camping will NOT be offered free of charge with the purchase of a weekend pass, as of this year. $5 will be charged at the festival gate if access to the general tent camping area is required. If you are not planning to stay the night, nor access the general or other camp areas you are not required to pay this camping fee.

In addition to general tent camping, we also have a limited number of full service camp sites (includes access to showers and campground washrooms) available. Please contact the Craik & District Regional Campgrounds (306) 734-5102 directly to reserve your spot.

Due to the limited capacity of the Craik & District Regional Campgrounds we encourage you to purchase your advance weekend passes as soon as possible to avoid disappointment at the gate.

Please email info@fieldfestival.com if you have any questions or concerns or visit our website over the course of next week for more information.
